Paul is multiple time winner of the INSEAD Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is the creator of INSEAD’s Startup Bootcamp. Paul teaches entrepreneurship courses and is the lead professor on INSEAD’s popular elective "Your First Hundred Days" which teaches students how to turn around a failing company. Paul has decades of work experience with start-ups, major technology companies, investment capital, consulting, and government initiatives. He has successfully worked in every corner of a technology company from answering the telephone and emails in technical support to finance to sales and business development to CEO.

Professor of Entrepreneurship

Ash Singh is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the INSEAD Business School and the Ivey Business School. Ash's entrepreneurial journey started while still a student at Chinese University in Hong Kong, he conceived and launched SNBS, a corporate social networking company which was acquired when he was just 22 years old. Ash was also one of the founders of Interactive SG - which flourished into one of Asia's leading digital media and new business accelerator based in Singapore. His flagship project "The Angel's Gate" was Asia's first crowdfunding TV platform for entrepreneurs that was aired prime-time on MediaCorp's Channel NewsAsia to 30MM homes in the region.

  • What is SkillsFuture Credit?

    The SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. Your credit will not expire and the government will provide periodic top-ups, so you may accumulate your credit.

  • Why is the SkillsFuture Credit only available to Singaporeans aged 25 and above?

    The SkillsFuture Credit is targeted at Singaporeans who have generally completed their full-time education and are in the workforce or preparing to join the workforce. It allows them to invest in their continued learning journey and be active learners.

  • I am a Singapore citizen turning 25 next year. When will I receive my credit?

    You will receive your account activation letter in January, the year you turn 25. You may proceed to make SkillsFuture Credit claims upon receipt of your account activation letter.

  • Why are Permanent Residents not eligible for the SkillsFuture Credit?

    The SkillsFuture Credit is aimed at helping Singaporeans in their learning and skills development and is in line with the Government’s commitment to providing support for Singaporeans to maximise their potential throughout life and secure good jobs.

  • How can I claim or use my SkillsFuture Credit? How can I check my credit balance and transactions?

    You can use your credit to pay for or offset the course fees of approved courses by applying through http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit. This SkillsFuture Credit Portal has been made available since January 2016. You can also check your credit balance and transactions via http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit.

  • What if I do not have a SingPass account? Can I access the SkillsFuture Credit Portal without using SingPass?

    You will need to login to your SkillsFuture Credit account using your SingPass. Note that you will be required to do a one-time update of your SingPass account and set up your 2-Step Verification (2FA) by July 2016. If you experience any issues relating to SingPass, you may: Visit https://www.singpass.gov.sg Email support@singpass.gov.sg Call SingPass Helpdesk at +65 6643 0555
