Diana is an award-winning educator with over 17 years of experience in the field of education. Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including Modern Learning Resource Teacher, Equity Resource Teacher, International Baccalaureate MYP Coordinator, Guidance Counsellor, STEM Lead Teacher, and IB Chemistry and Biology Teacher.
Currently, Diana serves as a Modern Learning Resource Teacher - Innovation and Research at the Peel District School Board, where she is dedicated to driving educational innovation and research initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Diana has contributed to equity-focused projects, including analyzing board-wide equity audit data and developing training modules to support data utilization and future goal planning. She has also created, reviewed, and edited various equity Educator Toolkit Infographics.
As a freelance Book Reviewer for the Complete STEM Smart Series Grade 1-6 by Popular Book Company (Canada) Ltd., Diana is passionate about contributing to the development of educational resources that promote STEM literacy and critical thinking skills among students.
Prior to her current role, Diana served as a Chemistry & Computer Science Teacher at the Toronto District School Board, where she gained valuable experience in curriculum development and classroom management.
Diana is committed to creating inclusive and empowering learning experiences for all students and is always seeking opportunities to collaborate with fellow educators and stakeholders.
